Naruto 416 Spoiler and My Prediction

There are 4 extant storylines:
a. Naruto’s senjutsu training
b. Hawk’s assignment
c. Konoha’s investigation/interrogation
d. Pein’s assignment

Now that Hawk’s assignment is almost complete, Kishimoto doesn’t have to devote a lot of pages to it. I expect that the other 3 are going to merge eventually.

1. Konoha will learn about Pein’s body; simultaneously, as Naruto reads about Jiraiya’s battle with that body, we, the readers, will be treated to a flashback.

2. Konoha will learn about some of the other bodies through interrogation; simultaneously, as Naruto reads about Jiraiya’s encounters with Pein’s other bodies, we, the readers, will be treated to more flashbacks.

3. During Pein’s reconnaisance of the Leaf village, someone will sense(Neji?) or stumble upon(Lee?) the prescence of Akatsuki, and a battle will begin. Pein won’t allow their prescence to be revealed.

4. When he said, “Maybe now I can do it,” Naruto meant that maybe now [he] can avenge Jiraiya. With his training complete, and having unknowingly gained a working understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of Pein’s bodies, he returns to Konoha prepared for a major battle/arc.

5. With Naruto occupying the foreground, Kishimoto can work in the resolution of the hachibi’s capture and its repercussions in bits and pieces.
